It’s Final Exam!

Time is travelling very-very fast, and again, most of us will facing another final examination. Damn huh? I know some of you might wonder and questioned who actually invented final examination. Of course its is not me who invented it.

Whatever it is, we cannot run away from final examination (if anyone of you can escape it without failing the papers, tell me!). It already become a part of human culture. UPSR, PMR, SPM, STPM, MUET, etc, etc, you name it, ah, life is no thrill if we are not experiencing the examination (betul kan Cik Nonie?). Life itself is a test from Allah, and we will get our result in the Hereafter. Betul?

Examination is not a hell of your life, don’t worry. There are many things out there that are ‘hellier’ than final examination. As usual, you know that there are many ways to tackle a problem or challenge, and how to sustain your competitive advantage. Now let us put final examination as the challenge, what is the best way to overcome and get rid of it?

First of course, is to study. Make preparation as you go along. Avoid (actually, I should stress ‘never’) study last minute. It will not help you much actually. But most students do not have problems on study and revision part, we have been taught the techniques of effective revision and study since primary school.

Then, what actually the real threat? Stress. Of course.

Oh, therefore, how to reduce stress? Indeed, there are many ways. This excerpt is taken from iMotivasi.com, just have a look what the author said:

Memang kita sedia maklum betapa stressnya bila berdepan peperiksaan atau lebih tepatnya lagi, final exam. Kekadang rasa nak give up, penat, tak tahan lama.

Kesannya, Anda jadi tertekan. Stamina mental Anda menghilang, sebab minda Anda jauh dari mengingat matlamat Anda.

Untuk kuat berdepan stress ketika menghadapi exam, beritahu diri Anda biarlah Anda kerja keras kali ni sebab Anda akan bersuka ria bila exam tu dah habis. Jadi, kita balun hari ni, esok kita akan berhepi-hepi. Kita study betul-betul hari ni, nanti lepas paper habis, baru kita relaks betul-betul.

Amalkan ‘work hard in smart way’.

Dalam kita kerja keras, kita seronokkan diri sendiri. Baru ada keseimbangan. Jangan seronoknya pulak yanng lebih, konpom haru biru Anda nanti.

Anda, jangan terlalu tertekan study. Kita usaha kuat, bergembira pun kena kuat walaupun bergembira sekadar 10 minit saja. Pentingkan kualiti dari kuantiti.

Baca banyak kali matlamat Anda supaya Anda bersemangat sentiasa. Biar kita susah dulu, supaya kita senang kemudian

Those who will facing final examination, please read your books (nah, not novel jiwang k!), skim your notes, memorize the formula, understand the facts, and make dua to Allah for His blessing. All the best and good luck! I always pray for your success.

P/S: Nah, my game is not over yet! After final exam, I will undergo three month practical training at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). That marks my final moment with IIUM, one more year to go before graduation… Sigh…
